Everyone who has contributed to this website is a former member of one of the Christian Fellowship Organisations (CFO) across Australia.
Each of us wants to know if the many stories about the CFO can be verified and whether they are isolated events or systematic and widespread.
The survey in this website aims to achieve that goal.
The Samson Rising team is a group of volunteers concerned about the number of distressing accounts we hear from current and former members of the affiliated churches using the name ‘Christian Fellowship’ in Australia.
We refer to this group of churches as the Christian Fellowship Organisation (CFO).
The Samson Rising team includes professionals from a range of disciplines, dedicated to examining the principles and practices of the CFO and to providing the resources necessary for ‘Samson Rising’ to achieve its aims.
Some of us have family members attending one of these organizations. These people risk ostracization but resolutely face this possibility with the single aim of sorting fact from emotive fiction.
We recognize the challenges faced by those who dare to speak out. We aim to make this easier for those who want to be heard.
Each person involved with this website is dedicated to having the truth be told.
We look forward to working with other groups of people pursuing similar objectives.
