'Abusers are allowed to abuse'

A sermon by Richard Kaa Junior

MCF: 1 December 2024

Here’s two quotes from Richie Kaa’s sermon:

‘This means the abuser’s power can be broken without them ever needing to apologize or repent to the person they abused. And that’s tremendous.’

‘Knowing that every injustice is God's mercy to deliver me from’ being 'tempted...’ – ‘by carnal use of the law. Amen.’

Editorial Comment: If abusers do not have to apologise or repent, and they are not held accountable by the law, then by deduction, they are allowed to continue to abuse.
I’m told Richie Kaa is a clinical psychologist. I assume this means he has an expert understanding of how to trigger responses within the human mind.

Another student of psychology, Joseph Goebbels, is quoted as saying:

‘If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it’.

Joseph Goebbels was the Nazi Minister for propaganda, and the rest is history.

In his sermon of 1 December 2024, Richard Kaa uses the words ‘Abuse’, ‘Abuser’, and ‘Abused’ 130 times in his 53-minute sermon.

He made five simple points:

  1. That many of the congregation have been abused.
  1. That when Christ died, He ended all sin.
  1. That God wants us to follow Christ’s example and also die to sin.
  1. The law revives sin within us, and
  1. Those of you who use the law to gain redress from your abusers are not living as Christ wants.

These five points are buried in the 8,065 words Richie Kaa used in his sermon.

I can only guess why Richie took such a roundabout way to make his points. My guess is that if Richie had used a smaller number of words, it might have sounded like he was grooming his audience.

My understanding of the technique Richie may have been employing is to desensitise and normalise words which would otherwise cause alarm.

In my circa 30 years of attendance in the CFO, I have never heard the wordsAbuse’, Abuser and Abused’ use in a sermon or in any other context.

Christian sermons more commonly use words like ‘if someone has offended you…’, or’sinned against you.’.

Richie’s use of the word ‘abuse came less than 24 hours after the Samson Rising website launched and raised serious concerns about the CFO. This may be just a coincidence, but Richie makes it sound like he’s referring to ‘abuse’ in a legal and criminal context.

If so, it reinforces our concerns about the CFO and their mode of operation when someone raises concerns.

Of the 185 surveys submitted to Samson Rising, 120 indicate the CFO may have committed crimes, such as sexual, physical, or psychological abuse.

I have personally read the accounts of sexual abuse of children while they attended the CFO. These accounts are too grotesque to describe in this forum, and more reports of this nature continue to arrive.

Samson Rising’s principal aim is to compel an independent investigation into the CFO to confirm or dispel allegations that have circulated for decades. (Refer to the Four Corners expose ‘The God of Broken Hearts’ from 2008). https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-02-23/the-god-of-broken-hearts/13767122

We have almost achieved our aims. But this is a situation where the weight of numbers counts.

Please continue to encourage everyone who understands the CFO to complete the Samson Rising survey to help persuade authorities to investigate. You can find the survey using this link.
