Victor Hall Condems Seniors to Hell

Good Afternoon,

LARGE FILES OF EVIDENCE PROVIDED TO SAMSON RISING

I am pleased to announce Samson Rising has been provided with numerous videos, other recordings, and documents, including sermons from BCF and MCF going back many years.

These include the files, which I am told were recently deleted from websites controlled by the CFO.

Once again, we should all be very grateful to those who’ve brought us this information, which was all in the public domain when it was recorded.

Our volunteers are working through these files to identify information to compel an investigation into the CFO’s policies and practices. We are seeking an independent investigation to confirm or dispel the numerous disturbing reports being gathered via the Samson Rising survey (https://samsonrising.com.au/online-survey/) and email address: [email protected]

Vic Hall’s sermon to BCF, 17 September 2024

Today I would like to bring you a video of one of Vic Hall’s last sermons to the congregation at BCF on 17 September 2024. The Samson Rising website launched on 1 December 2024, which means Vic’s sermon is a representation of his views as of September 2024.

The video is very helpful because it is only 5:29 minutes long.

You can follow this link to see the video of the entire sermon:

Unsanctified Seniors will soon go to Hell—A Sermon by Victor Hall

Vic starts by speaking to the seniors of the congregation by saying,

‘Just going to follow through from Damien speaking to you to the seniors.

Now I want you seniors to listen very carefully to me because some of you are not listening.’

Vic confirms that not all seniors in the church are following the Presbytery directive to cut off their family members.

Vic expresses his concern that seniors in Brisbane are not listening to the ‘Word’ on ostracization.

For those who may not be familiar with the CFO, one of their fundamental principles seems to be that congregants must follow the instructions of Elders. Importantly, this includes cutting off (ostracising) friends or family who leave the church or do not obey elders.

The Samson Rising Team is concerned that this may amount to an illegal form of coercion. If the actions of the CFO are illegal, the files provided to us today will enable us to look back and see which individuals were involved, when these things took place, and how many people may have been harmed.

The rest of Vic’s Sermon

To keep this report brief, we have highlighted the words that concern us in Vic’s sermon, and you can see these in the full transcript provided above.

However, our take on what Vic is saying is this:

  1. If you are a senior, remember that you are going to die very soon.
  2. You only have a short time to correct any godless behaviour.
  3. If you are living with family members that do not attend BCF, you are living in sin.
  4. You are not ready to die.
  5. You are not sanctified.
  6. You may as well leave the church because you’re going to Hell.
  7. You can only be saved if you cut off your family members.

As we understand it, for Vic Hall to condemn these seniors to Hell indicates that he has put himself in God’s position, as the judge of men, and he is certain that these seniors cannot be saved.

Samson Rising believes this kind of sermon generates fear in the minds of vulnerable seniors facing their own mortality. It creates doubts about the fundamental message of Christian salvation and conditions salvation on believing the CFO’s version of scripture rather than the overwhelming majority of Christendom.

We are concerned for those people who believe Vic Hall is hearing from God. We believe it places them at risk of being controlled by the Elders in a way that is harmful to them and against the public interest.

We believe seniors at the final stages in their lives should be allowed to live with their loved ones, having the close daily support they need from family.

The files provided to Samson Rising today, including this video of Vic Hall, will be provided to the ACNC, the Office of Fair Trading, and the Queensland Police in the coming days.
